Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade will run twice daily
Disneyland Paris has unveiled details of its 2024 Christmas line-up, which includes a new ‘night-time spectacular’.
The Disney Enchanted Christmas programme of events runs from 9 November 2024 until 6 January 2025.
The programme includes a new show called Doctor Strange: Mystery of the Mystics, which will run from 23 November 2024 until 29 March 2025 at the Marvel Avengers Campus, and a new night-time spectacular, which debuts on 10 January 2025.
The new night-time spectacular will combine iconic songs and projections of Disney characters on Sleeping Beauty Castle. The show promises to ‘push the technical boundaries’ of previous shows such as Disney Dreams with a combination of projections, fountains and lighting effects.
It will incorporate the park's Main Street, USA, and use images from Disney Animation films such as Pinocchio, Beauty and the Beast and Encanto as well as moments featuring Buzz Lightyear.
During this year’s festive programme, Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade will run twice daily along Main Street, featuring nearly 90 artists, with Mickey Mouse, Disney princesses and Santa joining the fun. The musical Let’s Sing Christmas will be staged in the Videopolis Theatre featuring Mickey, Minnie and friends, with traditional Christmas carols.
There will also be appearances by Mickey, Minnie and friends from 16 November 2024 once daily in the Town Square while Disney princesses will also perform a waltz at the foot of Sleeping Beauty Castle, where the Disney Electrical Sky Parade will also be held in the evening, lighting up the castle with Christmas colours.
A new storytelling show will take place at Disneyland Hotel this year, replacing La Troupe Royale Disney in the reception area and featuring the appearance of The Keeper of Time and the Winter Light. On New Year’s Eve, Disneyland Paris will hold its fireworks display in the park, and will stay open until 1am.
