Rosastays deal expands United Hospitality Management portfolio by 17 properties
Dubai-based United Hospitality Management (UHM) has entered the Indian market with the acquisition of Rosastays, a boutique hospitality brand with 17 properties across key leisure destinations such as Goa, Kasauli, Nainital, Pushkar and Shimla.
The move strengthens UHM’s position as a growing international operator, adding over 700 rooms to its development pipeline and securing a foothold in one of the world’s fastest-growing tourism markets.
UHM plans to rebrand select Rosastays properties between Q4 2025 and Q1 2026 as part of a phased integration strategy aimed at enhancing brand visibility and operational standards in India’s leisure segment.

Klaus Assmann, CEO at United Hospitality Management, said: “Our entry into India marks a key milestone in UHM’s global expansion strategy. The country’s hospitality sector is undergoing significant transformation, driven by a rising demand for design-led, experience-driven boutique stays. Through our acquisition of Rosastays, we aim to bring UHM’s international expertise, owner-centric philosophy, and operational excellence to one of the most dynamic markets in the world.”
Overseeing the company’s operations in India, UHM India Managing Director Deepika Arora said the country was “entering a transformative phase in travel and hospitality” — one that values authenticity, design, and differentiated guest experiences.
She added: “UHM’s entry will bring global systems, a strong owner-centric philosophy, and operational expertise that will accelerate growth for our partners. Our goal is to set new benchmarks across boutique, midscale, and luxury hospitality – with India as a key driver of that growth.”
This strategic move aligns with UHM’s broader vision to strengthen its international presence. The Dubai-headquartered group manages a portfolio of luxury and lifestyle hotels across the Middle East and Europe, including Th8 Palm Dubai Beach Resort – a Vignette Collection by IHG, The Creekside Hotel Dubai – an Accor Hotel, Wyndham Residences The Palm, and Riva Beach Club on Palm Jumeirah.
UHM partners with leading global hotel brands such as Accor, Hyatt, IHG, Marriott, Yotel and Wyndham, and also operates an expanding portfolio of holiday homes and branded residences across the UAE.
