Saudi Arabia’s low-cost carrier Flynas is set to expand its services in Morocco with new flights to the capital city of Rabat, following three years of operations in the West African country. Launch dates, flight frequencies and the Saudi departure airport are yet to be confirmed.
Flynas first began services to Morocco in 2023, offering direct flights to Casablanca from Jeddah and Madinah. Since its launch, the airline has carried more than 300,000 travellers between the two countries.
Elsewhere in North Africa, the carrier flies to Algiers in Algeria and six Egyptian cities, including Cairo, El-Alamein, Hurghada, Assiut, Sohag and Sharm El Sheikh. Collectively, the airline operates a network of more than 70 destinations worldwide.

Set along the Atlantic coast, Rabat is a Unesco World Heritage City offering a relaxed coastal lifestyle paired with a rich cultural heritage. Visitors can stroll along the Corniche Bouregreg with views of 12th-century landmarks such as the Kasbah of the Udayas, or explore the Old Market lined with vendors selling meats, spices and traditional crafts. In 2026, the city will also transform into Unesco’s World Book Capital with a year-long literary programme featuring activities, talks and workshops.
Morocco continues to be a popular getaway for GCC travellers, ranking sixth among trending winter destinations for UAE travellers, with lodging searches up 60% year-on-year, according to Expedia.
To accommodate growing tourism, several new hotels will open across Morocco in 2026, including Hilton’s Waldorf Astoria Rabat Salé, Marriott’s Four Points by Sheraton Casablanca, Bouskoura and Lincoln Casablanca, A Radisson Collection Hotel.
