Four Seasons plans new Saudi Arabia hotel in Diriyah

Four Seasons Hotel Diriyah will be a short drive from Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh at Kingdom Centre

Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts and Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA), the developers of the Diriyah giga project, have released details of the upcoming Four Seasons Hotel Diriyah.

Four Seasons Hotel Diriyah, Saudi Arabia will comprise 150 rooms and suites, expansive meeting and event spaces, a spa with seven treatment rooms and a fitness centre, as well as two outdoor pools with private cabanas. The hotel will also be home to four dining concepts, including a poolside restaurant and a lounge.

A 300-year-old site located just outside of Riyadh, Diriyah is considered to be the birthplace of the Kingdom and the capital of the first Saudi state. The area is home to the UNESCO World Heritage Site At-Turaif and will soon include the Diriyah development project paying homage to the history of Saudi Arabia. 

Located 15 minutes from the centre of Riyadh, Diriyah, a key driver of the Kingdom’s Saudi Vision 2030, will comprise 13 districts featuring residences, hotels, commercial space, retail, cultural institutions and outdoor attractions. 

The Diriyah development will feature traditional Najdi architectural design principles, including low-rise, compact and organic structures, rooftop terraces, decorated doors and large courtyards. Each district within the development will be walkable with easy connections to the sights and attractions of the area.
