Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa is the first IHG Hotels & Resorts property in the emirate

IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa.

Located on the shoreline of Hayat Island, just a 45-minute drive from Dubai International Airport, the five-star resort’s design is inspired by the emirate’s desert, mountains and sea, and offers 351 sea-facing rooms, suites and private pool villas.

The resort is also home to a total of six culinary outlets. Levant & Nar delivers Arabian dishes with a modern twist and features an open kitchen that emanates aromatic spices, quintessential to this part of the world. NoHo, inspired by the artistic streets of New York, offers a trendy hangout and late-night entertainment. Poolside venue ShaSha serves light bites and frozen cocktails with sweeping ocean views and shisha.

Complete with state-of-the-art equipment, the resort’s health club has a fitness studio, outdoor tennis court, and segregated male and female saunas. Spa InterContinental, scheduled to open in April, offers a range of anti-ageing and wellness treatments, along with modern remedies to melt away stress and enliven the senses, including a traditional Turkish hammam.

Younger guests can enjoy Teens Club facilities and Planet Trekkers (only available at select InterContinental resorts) with its curated programme of activities.
