Dubai and Abu Dhabi FBOs recognised for elevated guest experiences
Jetex UAE has become the first operator worldwide to have its private jet terminals verified by Forbes Travel Guide, with its flagship facilities in Dubai and Abu Dhabi awarded the new Verified Private Jet Terminal status.
Jetex, which operates more than 30 private terminals globally, received the recognition for the elevated guest experience and personalised service at its UAE locations, which emphasise privacy and exclusivity.
Forbes praised Jetex for its service blueprint that “anticipates the expectations of a discerning global clientele”, adding that Jetex had successfully translated the principles of world-class hospitality into the private air terminal space.

Jetex, which says it is committed to delivering the highest luxury hospitality standards, worked with Atelier CX, Forbes Travel Guide’s consulting division, to set out standards of excellence covering all aspects of the guest experience including reservations, pre- and post-flight and chauffeur service.
After engaging in training for its teams, Jetex Dubai and Jetex Abu Dhabi earned the Verified Private Jet Terminal accolade through successful incognito inspection on its brand standards.
Commenting on the award, Adel Mardini, Founder & CEO of Jetex said: "We are proud to be the first in the world to earn this honour from Forbes Travel Guide for both our flagship terminals in the United Arab Emirates. Luxury hospitality and exceptional guest experience are integrated in the Jetex brand DNA, and allow us to grow our presence globally.
Situated at the Private VIP Terminal at Al Maktoum International Airport (Dubai South), Jetex Dubai spans more than 1,600 square metres across two FBO concepts and is among the largest facilities of its kind globally. It features multiple plush lounge areas, private dining spaces, meeting rooms, shower facilities and a cigar lounge, and supports quick helicopter transfers and priority services for VIP passengers and crews.
Jetex Abu Dhabi, located at Al Bateen Executive Airport, the region’s only dedicated private jet airport, offers apron and hangar parking for up to 50 aircraft, along with on‑site immigration and customs. Beyond the UAE, Jetex also has operational private jet terminals in Oman, in Muscat and Salalah, with Red Sea International in Saudi Arabia in the pipeline, marking its first Saudi FBO.
The development comes as business aviation continues to track above pre‑pandemic levels. Global business jet movements rose by 5% in 2025, reaching a record 3.9 million departures, while activity in the Gulf has remained resilient despite geopolitical headwinds.
