Line secures eight awards in 2026 across its fleet
Celebrity Cruises has become the first cruise line to receive a Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star rating for a restaurant at sea. The award recognises Le Voyage, created in collaboration with Chef Daniel Boulud and featured on Celebrity Xcel, the newest ship in the fleet. This accolade places the venue among a select group of world-class restaurants, including Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester in London, Le Bernardin in New York and Restaurant Guy Savoy in Paris.
Inspired by Chef Boulud’s travels, Le Voyage delivers an immersive dining experience with à la carte dishes or a five-course tasting menu, paired with selections from the line’s award-winning wine programme, offering more than 500 labels from renowned regions worldwide.
Built on its strong record of excellence, Celebrity was the first cruise brand to receive a Forbes Travel Guide Star Award in 2023 and featured in the inaugural ratings for onboard restaurants in 2025. This year, it secured eight awards across the fleet, celebrating both ships and dining venues.
In addition, Le Voyage on Celebrity Ascent earned a Four‑Star rating, alongside Fine Cut Steakhouse on both Celebrity Ascent and Celebrity Apex.
Four Celebrity ships also received overall Forbes ratings for 2026. The brand’s newest vessel, Celebrity Xcel, achieved a ‘Recommended’ status, debuting with seven new onboard experiences including two new restaurants, the line’s largest spa, an enhanced poolside offering and its most diverse entertainment programme to date.
Celebrity Ascent earned a Four‑Star rating and continues to impress with its open‑air Rooftop Garden, featuring cantilevered floating pools extending six feet beyond the ship’s edge, and Infinite Veranda staterooms that connect guests even more closely with the sea.
Celebrity Apex, the second ship in the Edge Series, also secured a ‘Recommended’ rating for its outward‑facing design and architecturally distinctive spaces, while Celebrity Flora was recognised for its Galapagos expeditions aboard the boutique, 100‑guest mega‑yacht.
