9 New destinations to introduce Emirates Premium Economy

Emirates is accelerating the rollout of its Premium Economy cabin to nine new destinations across Europe, Africa and Asia, as it continues to deploy more retrofitted aircraft across its global network. The UAE flag carrier aims to offer the new cabin class on 99 routes by year-end. 

From March, Emirates will introduce four-class A380s and three-class Boeing 777 models on select routes, with additional Boeing 777 configurations and new A350s featuring Premium Economy to follow in the coming months. Services to Zurich in Switzerland will see upgraded aircraft from 1 March, followed by African destinations Mauritius and Entebbe on 29 March.

The airline will debut its first refurbished A380 in April, featuring a three-class layout with 76 Business Class, 56 Premium Economy and 437 Economy seats. All 15 of its two-class A380s are expected to be upgraded by November. The aircraft will first serve Amman in Jordan between 14 April and 31 May, before being deployed to Prague in the Czech Republic from 1 June. Also in April, New York’s JFK will operate a four-class A380 service four times weekly, increasing to daily frequency from 1 June. 

In the following month, Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam and Basra in Iraq will gain the new cabin class from 1 May, with Milan joining the network on 10 May. Later in the year, Hong Kong and Dublin will also offer Premium Economy, from 1 and 25 October, respectively. 

Emirates continues to enhance in-flight passenger experiences, complementing its upgraded cabin interiors. The airline is currently rolling out free Starlink WiFi across its entire fleet, while also expanding airport services, including complimentary chauffeur transfers for Business and First Class passengers, most recently introduced at Tokyo’s Kansai and Narita airports.
