Emirates Skywards introduces cashback redemptions for UAE members

Emirates Skywards has introduced a new cashback feature on its Skywards Everyday app, giving UAE-based members the flexibility to convert miles into spendable credit at more than 500 retail and lifestyle outlets.

Members earn one mile for every AED5 spent on grocery and pharmacy purchases, and one mile per AED3 on leisure, entertainment, dining and wellness activities. Through the app, users can link up to five debit or credit cards and choose to either continue earning miles from eligible purchases or redeem them instantly as cashback. 

Commenting on the initiative, Dr Nejib Ben Khedher, Divisional Senior Vice President at Emirates Skywards, said: “We’re pleased to announce even more flexibility for our members across the UAE. It’s another added value on everyday activities that our members appreciate.”

To celebrate the launch, Skywards is offering UAE members a 50% discount on miles converted into cashback until 28 February 2026. 

Emirates Skywards continues to evolve its rewards scheme, marking 25 years of operations in 2025. The airline recently partnered with UK low-cost carrier Jet2.com, allowing members to redeem miles on routes across its 75-destination network.
