Moulin Rouge lights up Christmas at Maldives resort Sun Siyam Iru Fushi

This holiday season guests at Sun Siyam Iru Fushi resort will be transported into a Parisian island wonderland with a Moulin Rouge-inspired celebration and plenty more.

From 22 December 2024 through to 4 January 2025, the Maldives resort will entertain guests with performances and DJ sets, not to mention all the trimmings.

The following is a list of what's on offer this Christmas season:

Christmas Eve Feast – A Culinary Celebration

Iru Restaurant will serve up a buffet with fresh seafood dishes, traditional Christmas favourites, a carving station and local delicacies. Trio and Flavours Restaurants, is offering a Christmas Eve Set Menu.

Christmas Day – Carols and Santa's Arrival

Watch on as the resort's younger guests spread festive cheer and sing Christmas carols around the island. Santa will pay a visit with a sack filled with gifts.

DJ Toni Mesas – Bringing the Beat from Barcelona

Spanish DJ and producer Toni Mesas, pictured above, from Barcelona will bring his sound to the Maldives, spinning the decks throughout the holiday season.

New Year's Eve Gala – Countdown to 2025

Guests can ring in the new year with a buffet dinner at Iru Restaurant or exclusive set menus at Trio and Flavours restaurants. The evening will include live performances by the resort's resident DJ and band, with dance acts on the programme. The countdown to midnight will culminate in a fireworks display in the Maldivian night sky.
