Cruise line confirms return of popular ‘Free at Sea Plus’ offer
Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has revealed details of its winter 2027-28 deployment, confirming the return of its popular ‘Free at Sea Plus’ offer across sailings.
Covering 370 cruises from September 2027 to April 2028, the new season features itineraries from two to 22 days, visiting 144 destinations across 47 countries.
Available on sailings from February 1, 2026, the upgraded Free at Sea Plus package offers expanded amenities, including premium drinks, streaming Wi-Fi and Starbucks coffee, priced at US$49.99 per person per day. The package is being reinstated “by popular demand”, according to NCL.
The cruise line said it is placing a “strong focus” on the Bahamas, Caribbean, Bermuda, Mexican Riviera, Asia, Australia and New Zealand for the upcoming season. Highlights include an average port time of 9.5 hours, 71 late departures across 31 ports and 70 overnight stays.

"With longer port stays, overnight calls and our award-winning onboard experiences, guests can explore at their own pace and personalise every moment at ease.
“Plus, many of our Bahamas and Caribbean itineraries will visit our exclusive private island destination, Great Stirrup Cay, which will feature a new pier, an oversized heated pool and the Great Tides Waterpark."
Great Stirrup Cay is undergoing significant upgrades set to debut in phases over the next year, with new features including swim-up bars, the introduction of a tram service and a water park featuring 19 waterslides and a winding river — plus new luxury cabanas, Vibe Shore Club, and Hammock Bay for guests seeking relaxation.
