VFS Global platform available to UAE, Saudi, Qatar, Kuwait and Oman residents
Technology specialist VFS Global has launched an online platform to make Indonesia’s electronic visa on arrival application process easier for travellers from 97 countries, including UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Oman travellers.
Travellers can now apply online and receive a pre-approved e-visa before departure, skipping queues at popular destinations such as Bali and Jakarta.
The service is also available for group bookings, making it useful for travel agents and tour operators.
“The launch of this innovative, secure and user-friendly digital e-visa on arrival platform for Indonesia will undoubtedly streamline the visa application process, making it faster, easier and more convenient,” said Jiten Vyas, Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Business Development at VFS Global.
“With Indonesia being a globally sought-after destination, we are honoured to assist visitors from 97 countries by facilitating their entry into this incredible country through this platform.”

Recent hotel and resort openings in Indonesia include one- and three-bedroom residences with private pools at Uluwatu-based Jumeirah Bali, the Anantara Ubud Bali Resort, a tropical retreat with 85 suites and pool villas in Payangan, north of Ubud, and the 210-key 25hours Hotel Jakarta The Oddbird in the capital’s central business district.
