Nobu set to expand Saudi footprint

KSA welcomes Nobu’s fourth restaurant in the GCC after Dubai, Doha and Riyadh

Nobu, the global lifestyle brand founded by Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro and Meir Teper has revealed plans to launch a Nobu Hotel, Nobu Restaurant and Nobu Residences in Al Khobar, in Saudi Arabia’s eastern province.

Set to open in 2024, the luxury complex will be located on the waterfront and will offer 120 guest rooms and suites with a Nobu restaurant on the lobby level, plus swimming pools, a wellness centre, meeting rooms and event space.

The mixed-use project will be developed by Al Khobar Sands Realestate Co Ltd, jointly owned by Retal Urban Development Company, a subsidiary of the Al Fozan Group and Assayel Arabia, a subsidiary of Ali Zaid Al Quraishi and Brothers Company (AZAQ).

Yousef Al Quraishi, CEO of AZAQ and vice-chairman of Al Khobar Sands Realestate Co Ltd, said: “We are elated over our exciting partnership with Nobu, leading the vision in bringing the best hotels, residences and restaurants to Al Khobar.
