Alila Hinu Bay offers complimentary night’s stay in khareef season

Alila Hinu Bay offers complimentary night’s stay in khareef season

Oman’s khareef (monsoon) season provides an escape from the heat for GCC summer staycationers

During summer, Alila Hinu Bay, an upmarket boutique beachfront resort in Mirbat, Salalah, Oman is running a ‘Book One Stay Two’ offer giving guests two nights’ stay for the price of one.

Khareef – the colloquial Arabic term for the region’s southeastern monsoon, which impacts southern Oman as well as southeastern Yemen, southwestern Saudi Arabia and Sudan – occurs between June and early September.

The rains feed the local flora and fills the picturesque waterfalls of Salalah, the third-largest city in the Sultanate of Oman, and the largest city in the Dhofar Province. Temperatures are slightly cooler than in neighbouring GCC countries, making the destination prime for GCC staycation seekers.

However, relaxing is the main pursuit at this elegant resort.
