Park Hyatt Marrakech has three pools, a hammam and access to an 18-hole golf course
Park Hyatt Marrakech is officially welcoming guests this summer, marking the debut of the globally renowned Park Hyatt brand in Morocco.
Located 9km from Marrakech’s popular Medina district, the 7.5-hectare resort is positioned at the base of the Atlas Mountains, surrounded by palm trees, olive trees and jacaranda trees. Adjacent to the Al Maaden Golf resort, Park Hyatt Marrakech also offers guests access to the 18-hole course.
Made up of 16 pavilions arranged around a central, zeolite patio, the 130-key resort offers guests a stylish take on Arab-Berber heritage. Each guestroom features traditionally woven Berber carpets in pure wool and headboards representing the tataoui motif (a local roofing technique made of laurel branches) alongside modern works of art sourced via Ifitry Artists' Residence.
The hotel has three dining options, including Tfaya, an arabesque brasserie where acclaimed Moroccan chef Issam Rhachi presents signature dishes. Le Pavillon is the all-day dining establishment, and The Living Room, a social space where guests can enjoy a cup of tea or tapas-style snacks.
The hotel offers "hyperlocal experiences" for guests, such as breakfast in a hot-air balloon in the Three Atlas Valleys and dinner in a Bedouin tent in the Agafay desert.
Aside from the golf course access, the resort’s wellbeing offerings the centrepiece 2,200-square-metre spa, which is an ode to Morocco’s culture of hammam rituals and holistic therapies.
