Resort in India scores top honours in Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards

The Oberoi Rajvilas, Jaipur has taken the title of the Best Hotel in the World in the Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards for 2024.

Open since 1997, the acknowledgment underscores the resort's luxury appeal. Positioned within 32 acres of gardens in a Rajasthani fort setting, it offers upscale accommodations, dining and spa experiences.

Guests can choose between specially designed rooms, luxury tents, and villas with private pools, each with a distinctive Rajasthani aesthetic.

The Oberoi Spa, housed in an 18th-century haveli, or manor house, provides guests with a range of holistic treatments and therapies.

Activities such as pottery sessions, bangle-making, traditional Indian puppet shows and block printing workshops emphasise Rajasthan’s rich cultural heritage. The resort also offers curated experiences, including traditional Rajasthani music recitals and dance performances, cooking classes, and guided tours of Jaipur’s historical landmarks, including the Amber Fort, City Palace and Hawa Mahal.
