Codeshare agreement with Philippines Airways offers increased connectivity
Qatar Airways and Philippine Airlines have commenced a daily non-stop service between Doha and Manila, marking a significant step in their new codeshare agreement.
The partnership provides passengers with greater flexibility, enhanced travel options with onward transfers at Hamad International Airport in Doha to more than 170 destinations worldwide, including Africa, the Americas, Central Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
Speaking during the launch event at Hamad International Airport, Qatar Airways Chief Commercial Officer Thierry Antinori said: “This daily service marks the beginning of a strong partnership between our two airlines, paving the way for even closer ties between the Philippines and Qatar for the benefit of both business and leisure travel.”
The new service will be operated by Philippine Airlines using its long-range Airbus A330-300 aircraft, configured with 18 flat-bed Business Class seats and 341 Economy Class seats.
