Radisson Hotel Group says it is on track to boost its Middle East portfolio to 150 hotels, resorts and serviced apartments by 2030, a significant increase given it currently has less than 100 properties in operation or development.
Saudi Arabia is a major part of those plans, with Radisson having 47 properties in operation and "Saudi Arabia remains one of our most dynamic and strategic markets globally," said Elie Younes, Executive Vice President "Our continued investment and development in the kingdom reflect both our confidence in the Saudi market and our commitment to delivering relevant hospitality solutions that meet the needs of our guests and owners."
Radisson isn't alone in its Saudi ambitions, with Hilton recently reporting it is on track to reach a milestone of 100 properties, operating or in the pipeline, in Saudi by the end of 2025 as it aims to more than quadruple its presence in the kingdom.
