Membership gives UAE destination direct access to the world’s top luxury advisors
Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) has been accepted into two of the world’s leading luxury travel networks, Virtuoso and Serandipians by Traveller Made.
The move aligns the UAE’s northern emirate with sought-after destinations such as Santorini, Kyoto and the Amalfi Coast, recognised for outstanding hospitality and experiential offerings.
Membership of both networks is by invitation only and restricted to destinations, hotels and travel experts that meet strict criteria, with evaluation based on authenticity, sustainability, service quality and the breadth of experiences available to travellers.
As a ‘preferred destination’ in Virtuoso and Serandipians, RAK will now be represented in front of influential luxury travel advisors and operators who design tailor-made journeys for high-net-worth clients.

The application process highlighted not only existing luxury hospitality but also the emirate’s cultural and adventure credentials and its pipeline of upcoming developments set to expand its luxury offering.
Commenting on the milestone, Iyad Rasbey, Vice President – Destination Tourism Development at Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA), said becoming part of the network marks a “pivotal moment” for RAK.
“These partnerships will showcase the emirate’s exceptional blend of nature, culture, and exceptional hospitality to a global audience of travellers who value authenticity, exclusivity, and meaningful experiences.”
Driven by the emirate’s strongest tourism performance to date, RAK attracted 654,000 visitors in the first half of 2025, a 6% year-on-year increase and a step towards its target of more than 3.5 million annual visitors by 2030.
Its luxury portfolio has expanded in parallel, with existing properties including Waldorf Astoria and The Ritz-Carlton and recent arrivals such as Anantara Mina Al Arab and Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort.
Among future launches are Wynn Resorts, on track to open early 2027, Four Seasons, Nobu Hotels, Fairmont, Taj and NH Collection.
Beyond accommodation, the emirate’s adventure and cultural experiences include the world’s longest zipline on Jebel Jais, hot-air balloon journeys at sunrise, desert stargazing, and visits to the Suwaidi Pearl Farm, with insights into the region’s heritage.
