Network expands to meet rising international travel demand
Saudia Airlines, Saudi Arabia’s national carrier, will add 11 new destinations in 2025.
The expansion of the network sees Saudia’s total number of routes reach more than 100 across four continents, offering travellers more options across the Middle East, Europe and Asia.
New routes in Europe include Venice in Italy, Nice in France, Malaga in Spain, Larnaca in Cyprus, Vienna in Austria, and two destinations in Greece, Athens and Heraklion.
Closer to home, Saudia is adding the coastal cities of El Alamein in Egypt, Antalya in Turkey and Salalah at the southernmost tip of Oman.
Beyond the EMEA region, the airline will also unveil a new service to Bali in Indonesian.

The expansion follows a 16% year-on-year increase in international passenger numbers in 2024, reaching 20 million, and aligns with the kingdom’s aim to attract 150 million tourists by 2030.
Ibrahim Al-Omar, Director General of Saudia Group said the selection of destinations was based on “comprehensive feasibility studies and guest preferences”.
In support of its continued network expansion, Saudia will welcome 118 new aircraft over the next few years. The carrier has invested heavily in modernising its fleet, which is now one of the youngest in the industry.
With more than 530 daily flights, Saudia serves more than 100 destinations globally, including all 28 domestic airports in the kingdom.
