The World Heart Hotel will be a historic development for the Iraqi capital
One of the UAE’s leading hospitality management companies has won the contract to develop and manage Baghdad’s first five-star luxury hotel under the World Heart Hotel banner.
Dex Squared Hospitality will operate the hotel, which has 285 rooms, 35 luxury suites and 54 apartments, and has pledged to “redefine Iraq’s tourist landscape”.
"We are excited to bring our innovative approach to hotel operations and brand development to Iraq," said Kevork Deldelian, CEO & Founder at Dex Squared Hospitality.
"As a project, the World Heart Hotel aligns with our vision to revolutionise the industry as we continue to challenge the status quo.
“Our goal is to create an unparalleled hospitality experience that will set new benchmarks in luxury and service standards within the Iraqi market."
The multimillion-dollar World Heart will offer views of the Tigris River and will have a Convention Palace with a 240-seat auditorium, two ballrooms, several meeting rooms, restaurants and a 150-unit shopping mall.
The Baghdad hotel expands Dex Squared Hospitality’s presence across the MENA region, adding to a footprint including Dubai, Riyadh, Jeddah, Cairo, Rabat and the Red Sea.
