Data.ai intelligence platform recorded 44% growth year-on-year
Wego has been ranked as the number-one travel app for flight searches and bookings in the Middle East, according to data intelligence platform Data.ai.
One of the largest online travel marketplaces in the Middle East, North Africa and Asia-Pacific, Wego retains its ranking for the second year running.
Wego has also earned the distinction of being the most downloaded travel app for flight-focused brands in the Middle East region, and notably, it is still the most downloaded travel app under Meta and OTA categories in Kuwait since September 2022.

The data was gathered by analysing the download rates of 1,109 travel apps that offer flight and hotel search capabilities.
According to the data, Wego recorded a year-on-year growth of more than 44% and had 305,775 downloads in the month of May 2024 alone.
With the peak outbound travel season beginning from June in the region, Wego may is likely to see downloads of the app continue to rise.
