First Look: JW Marriott Crete Resort & Spa, Greece

Set on a 100-acre coastal site near Chania, Marriott’s first Mediterranean beach resort includes 160 rooms, suites and villas, many with private pools and spectacular Aegean Sea views. Designed by Block722, the property blends natural materials with contemporary lines. There are four pools, including one for adults, a private beach and a spa with hydrotherapy facilities, a yoga deck and fitness centre. Six dining venues source produce from the on-site JW Garden, with highlights including open-fire Cretan cuisine at Anoee and bespoke cocktails by Line Athens. The resort also features Europe’s first JW Market café-retail concept.
