First Look: Moxy Istanbul Beyoğlu, Turkiye

The first Turkish outpost of Marriott’s millennial-focused brand Moxy, this 166-key hotel is housed in the historic Afrika Han building in Istanbul’s trendy Beyoğlu district, close to attractions such as Hagia Sophia. In true Moxy fashion, the design reflects the locale with neo-classical elements, bold colours and local artwork inspired by Turkish cinema. Minimalist but stylish rooms are filled with smart features, from bedside USB ports to power showers, and suites come with sweeping city views, marble bathrooms and living areas. Communal spaces include a lobby-lounge bar serving small plates and cocktails, 24/7 deli, breakfast bar and a fitness centre open around the clock.
