Europe’s leading luxury travel buyers convened in Manama from 7–10 February 2026 for the fourth edition of Explore Bahrain with Connections, hosted in partnership with the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA). The reimagined three-day programme blended curated business meetings with networking sessions and immersive experiences across the capital’s cultural sites and five-star hotels, including The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain and Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa. Seventy delegates representing 10 nationalities engaged in 439 one-to-one meetings under The Connections Way format, designed to foster meaningful relationships through shared experiences. Cultural highlights included oyster shucking, pearl discovery and basket weaving, alongside guided tours of the Unesco-listed Qal’at Al Bahrain, the Al Fateh Grand Mosque and Bahrain National Museum, culminating with a closing reception at the Conrad Bahrain Financial Harbour.
