Middle East influences meet British classics in newly unveiled space at DXB Terminal 1
British Airways has opened an all-new lounge at Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 1, marking the debut of a refreshed design concept in the Middle East.
The 5,800-square-foot space, created in collaboration with global architecture and design firm Gensler, blends British sophistication with contemporary Arabian accents.
The new venue reimagines the pre-flight experience, featuring a self-service dining area with international dishes and regional favourites such as Arabic mezze.
At the bar, travellers can sample bespoke beverages including a Dubai Chocolate Martini or a non-alcoholic Bucks Free Fizz, while UAE-based Coffee Planet adds a homegrown touch.
Access to the lounge is offered to British Airways’ Club World (business class) and First customers, Executive Club Silver and Gold members, and oneworld Sapphire and Emerald cardholders, including those flying with partners such as Qatar Airways, Oman Air, Malaysia Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Qantas and Royal Jordanian.
For passengers travelling in First, a separate Concorde Dining Room with its own entrance offers an exclusive à la carte experience.
The menu highlights British Airways signatures such as the Concorde Wagyu Burger alongside local classics such as Umm Ali, served in an intimate setting featuring table, bar and armchair seating.
