Superyacht service specialist adds Dubai base amid accelerating marine tourism growth
Global superyacht agency BWA Yachting has launched operations in the UAE, following its recent debut in Saudi Arabia, expanding its footprint in the Middle East and strengthening its connected network of superyacht services across key maritime hubs.
For GCC trade partners, the expanded presence creates a single regional point of contact for superyacht calls linking Gulf ports with wider Indian Ocean and Mediterranean itineraries, supporting BWA Yachting’s strategy to build a seamless network across Saudi Arabia, the UAE and the Maldives.
This move comes as Dubai’s marine tourism sector gains momentum, fuelled by world-class marinas, premium services and sustained infrastructure investment, supporting rising demand for superyacht berths and services across the emirate’s coastline. The Dubai Maritime Authority reported a 149% surge in foreign yacht arrivals in the first half of 2025, with 97 international vessels recorded, more than double last year’s figure for the same period.
BWA Yachting’s Dubai office will coordinate superyacht movements across the emirates’ main ports and marinas – including Dubai Harbour, Mina Rashid, Palm Jumeirah, Yas Marina and Emirates Palace – as well as key ports in Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain.

Services available through the UAE office include port clearances, berth bookings, bunkering, immigration and crew logistics, technical support and VIP concierge arrangements. The team will also curate bespoke onboard and onshore experiences, provide off-season storage solutions and manage VIP transport needs.
Commenting on the expansion, Paschalis Patsiokas, CEO of BWA Yachting, said the UAE opening represents a “key step in consolidating our Middle East infrastructure”.
He commented: “With established operations in Saudi Arabia and now the Emirates, we can provide clients with an uninterrupted chain of services from the Suez to the Arabian Gulf, improving efficiency, predictability and response times across all major touchpoints.”
Abdulaziz Higgi, Head of BWA Yachting KSA & UAE, added: “The UAE is a mature and strategically important hub for superyacht traffic. Our presence on the ground allows us to respond faster, leverage strong local relationships and provide the operational clarity captains and crew rely on when navigating the region.”
This momentum in yachting reflects the wider success of Dubai’s tourism sector, which attracted 13.95 million international visitors in the first nine months of 2025, a 5% year-on-year increase.
