Promotion runs until 31 May 2026
Etihad Airways has introduced a limited-time promotional offer for its Pets Onboard service, pricing pets-in-cabin travel at US$399 per flight segment until 31 May 2026.
Under the service, pets must travel in an approved carrier. In Economy, the carrier can be placed under the seat or on an additional booked seat, while in Business class pets are accommodated on a separate seat.
The offer comes amid growing demand for pet-friendly travel, with Emirates also launching a dedicated pet relocation support team in the UAE to manage outbound animal bookings.
Arik De, Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer at Etihad Airways, said: “The service allows small cats and dogs to travel in the aircraft cabin alongside their owners, helping reduce stress for pets while allowing guests to keep their pets close throughout the journey.”

The pets-in-cabin promotion comes as Etihad rolls out a series of passenger-focused measures following disruption to regional air travel triggered by the Iran war, which began on 28 February 2026. These include extended flexible booking policies, allowing passengers to change travel dates, and reduced loyalty programme thresholds to help members maintain or upgrade their status.
The Abu Dhabi airline carried more than 2 million passengers in January 2026, up 29% year-on-year, supported by network expansion and new route launches.
Flight activity across the Gulf is gradually recovering, with airlines operating at more than 50% of pre-conflict schedules, according to Flightradar24 data.
