Senior executive promoted internally
Kerzner International has promoted Mattheos Georgiou to Head of Global Operations, expanding his responsibilities across the group’s One&Only, Siro and Rare Finds brands as it continues to grow its global hospitality portfolio.
Georgiou joined Kerzner in 2022 as Global Vice President of Operations and has played a key role in driving service standards and guest experience initiatives across the group.
In the new role, he will oversee operational performance, guest experience and strategic growth across the three brands, while leading teams spanning operations, food and beverage, wellness, quality and experiences. Reporting to Kerzner International CEO Philippe Zuber, Georgiou will work alongside resort and hotel general managers across the portfolio to support brand development and operational consistency as the company expands in established and emerging markets.

The appointment comes as Kerzner continues strengthening its footprint across the GCC and wider luxury hospitality market through its Atlantis, One&Only, Siro and Rare Finds brands. The group recently announced two projects in Saudi Arabia, including Atlantis and One&Only resorts on Jeddah’s Red Sea waterfront, and is also preparing to debut the Atlantis brand in the Maldives in 2029.
Earlier this year, The Meydan Hotel Dubai reopened under Kerzner management as part of the Rare Finds portfolio following an extensive refurbishment. The company also announced plans to launch One&Only Courchevel in the French Alps in 2030, marking the brand’s first alpine resort and further expanding its international presence.
