The Meydan Hotel in Dubai

Kerzner International has assumed management of The Meydan Hotel, a “legendary” landmark in Dubai’s hospitality scene and the only hotel in the world built into the grandstand of an international horse racetrack.

Kerzner, whose luxury portfolio in the UAE includes two Atlantis Dubai properties, three One&Only resorts, and the fitness-focused SIRO Za’abeel hotel, plans to bring a “new level of service” to The Meydan Hotel as it prepares for an early 2026 relaunch.

The 284-room property, located in Dubai’s evolving green Meydan district, has reopened bookings after undergoing extensive upgrades to its rooms and public areas.

The hotel, owned by Dubai Holding, offers some of the largest rooms and suites in the city, each with a private balcony providing a front-row view of one of the world’s richest horse races.

The refurbishment introduces a fresh aesthetic that blends the hotel’s sporting heritage with contemporary luxury.

Culinary offerings will be expanded, featuring Farriers, an all-day upscale Mediterranean restaurant, along with the Saddle Bar and Tea Lounge in the Millennium Lobby, delivering a varied dining experience.

Beyond its racing connection, The Meydan Hotel is a versatile venue for events and celebrations. Its indoor and outdoor spaces can welcome up to 50,000 guests, accommodating concerts, gala dinners, and corporate meetings.

The property is complemented by facilities including a 9-hole golf course, padel and tennis courts, and a dynamic nightlife scene.
