Guests can enjoy 40% savings on villa rates until 31 January
Crown & Champa Resorts (CCR) has opened Nala Maldives by Jawakara Islands, a new adults-only hideaway set on a 10-hectare island in the Lhaviyani Atoll, just a 35-minute seaplane journey from Velana International Airport. To mark its debut, the resort is offering guests 40% off villa rates until 31 January 2026, valid for stays through 31 October 2026.
Open to guests aged 12 and above, Nala Maldives forms part of a dual-island concept that combines the privacy of an adults-only retreat with the leisure options of its neighbouring island, Jawakara. Guests can travel between the two islands in just three minutes by speedboat, enjoying access to a wider selection of dining venues, sports facilities and island experiences.
Designed as an intimate resort, Nala comprises 80 one-bedroom villas, with categories ranging from beach villas with ocean views and private terraces to 30 overwater villas featuring infinity pools and direct lagoon access. Each villa’s design draws inspiration from the island setting, using local materials and open-plan layouts to connect indoor and outdoor spaces, enhanced by private porches and rain showers, while select villas are powered by solar energy.

Guests can dine across six restaurants and bars, from an international buffet with live cooking stations at Velu to modern Greek flavours and local seafood at Milos. Kumo serves Asian favourites, while Snack Lab offers wholesome light bites.
For drinks and sunset views, choices include Bubbles Champagne Bar and the poolside Sand Bar. Through inter-island access, Nala guests can also explore Jawakara’s venues.
At the Sulha Spa, wellness takes centre stage with facilities such as a Himalayan Salt Room, Red-Light Therapy Room, sauna and cold bath. Treatments extend from traditional massages and Ayurvedic therapies to yoga sessions and organic skincare rituals.
Adventure seekers can snorkel directly from shore or overwater villas to the house reef, or embark on water sports including kayaking, catamaran sailing and jet skiing. PADI-certified diving is also available, offering access to over 60 sites across Lhaviyani Atoll. On land, guests can enjoy tennis, padel, futsal and golf, with both 9- and 18-hole options on Jawakara.
Commenting on the opening, Ahmed Shaheen, Chief Commercial Leader at Crown & Champa Resorts, said: “Nala Maldives is designed as a sanctuary where guests can reconnect, unwind and experience the Maldives in its most authentic form. With its intimate size, adults-only environment, wellness offerings and access to Jawakara, Nala represents the next evolution in CCR’s luxury portfolio.”
