Destination to feature a waterfront resort with direct beach access
Ellington Properties, a UAE-based luxury developer, has revealed plans for The Meriva Collection, a new beachfront hospitality destination on Dubai Islands, set to feature a waterfront hotel alongside a collection of premium beachfront residences.
The Meriva Collection marks Ellington’s first hospitality-focused development, expanding the company’s portfolio beyond design-led residential communities. Located on Island B – a low-density, resort-style part of the masterplan – the project is designed to offer privacy, direct beach access and open sea views.
The planned hotel will act as the focal point of the destination, surrounded by landscaped promenades, shaded walkways, boutique retail and dining spaces. The area will be designed to encourage walkability and social interaction for visitors and residents.
Alongside the hotel, the residential component will include five buildings and a signature beachfront residence with one- to four‑bedroom apartments and penthouses. Some homes will feature study areas, private pools, rooftop gyms and direct beach access.

The development forms part of the wider Dubai Islands masterplan, a 17‑square‑kilometre coastal destination offering 20 kilometres of beachfront. The long-term plan includes up to 87 hotels and resorts spanning luxury, wellness, eco and family segments, supported by marinas, golf courses and retail promenades.
Connected to mainland Dubai via road bridges to Deira Corniche and central areas, Dubai Islands is reachable within 20 minutes of Dubai International Airport Downtown Dubai. A new 1.4km bridge from Bur Dubai over Dubai Creek is due in 2026.
Dubai Islands currently features Hotel RIU Dubai, Centara Mirage Beach Resort Dubai and Park Regis by Prince Dubai Islands, with Rixos Dubai Islands under development.
