Premier penthouse suite features private office and gym with steam room and sauna
Marriott International has opened W Riyadh – KAFD, marking the debut of W Hotels in Saudi Arabia and the brand’s seventh property in the Middle East.
Situated in the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD), one of Riyadh’s key business and lifestyle hubs, the hotel is 20 minutes from King Khaled International Airport and accessible via the Riyadh Metro.
Interiors by LW Design draw on Saudi heritage, incorporating Najdi textiles and Al Sadu weaving motifs, alongside stone and marble finishes inspired by the surrounding desert landscape.
The 210-key hotel features 17 suites and two penthouse suites, including the W Penthouse. Spanning 390 square metres, the flagship penthouse comprises two bedrooms, separate living and dining areas, a private office and a gym with steam room and sauna.

The hotel’s dining portfolio includes Sira, offering Latin American-inspired dishes, Beni, a speciality coffee house, and Wet Deck, an outdoor poolside venue with private cabanas serving Mediterranean cuisine. Sahari, an additional outdoor lounge designed for performances and social events, is set to open later this year.
Across the property, guests can access signature W Hotels spaces such as the W Lounge, Away Spa and Fit fitness centre, alongside the brand’s Whatever/Whenever service, designed to fulfil personalised guest requests.
Helen Leighton, Vice President of Luxury Brands, EMEA, said: “W Hotels has always been rooted in creativity and culture, and W Riyadh – KAFD is an expression of the brand’s design ethos, anticipatory service evolution and immersive programming.”
As of late 2025, Marriott International surpassed 100 properties in its Saudi portfolio of operating and pipeline hotels, highlighting continued expansion in the kingdom’s hospitality sector.
The group is also set to further expand the W Hotels brand in the region, with a planned debut on Ras Al Khaimah’s Al Marjan Island in 2027.
