Dar es Salaam to Dubai flights launch as Tanzania's national carrier opens first Middle East office
The national airline of Tanzania now operates four flights a week between Dubai, UAE and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Air Tanzania recently commenced the service that flies from Dar es Salaam (DAR) on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Flights depart DAR at 8pm local time and arrive at Dubai International (DXB) at 2.30am the following day. Return flights leave DXB at 4am on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and arrive at DAR at 8:30am.
The new route marks a significant milestone for the company, highlighting its vision to expand into new operations and markets both domestically and internationally.

Air Tanzania's CEO and Managing Director, Ladislaus Matindi, said the airline was delighted to join the ranks of global airlines in launching the Dubai route.
