Interior of Nobu One Za'abeel

The world-renowned Nobu brand has opened its third Dubai location, Nobu One Za’abeel, with a glittering celebration attended by A-listers and hospitality executives. Perched 230 metres above the city in the sky concourse at The Link, the new venue offers sweeping views of the Dubai skyline paired with interiors that feature Japanese aesthetics. Celebrations featured live Taiko drumming and a kagami biraki ceremony, a traditional Japanese ritual symbolising prosperity, led by founders Nobu Matsuhisa and Meir Teper, alongside Kerzner International CEO Philippe Zuber. VIP guests included Lindsay Lohan, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Nelly Karim, Jacqueline Fernandez, Gunna, Rema, AP Dhillon, Nawal El Zoghbi and Chanel Iman. Throughout the evening, attendees sampled Nobu’s signature dishes, from Black Cod Butter Lettuce and Wagyu Short Rib to Yellowtail Jalapeño and assorted sushi platters, as DJ sets by Francis Mercier set the tone with upbeat sets.
