The carrier will deploy its flagship aircraft on the route from 15 November

Emirates is upping capacity on its daily Dubai-Narita route with the deployment of its flagship A380 from 15 November.

The launch date is set to coincide with the removal of Japan’s daily arrival cap, and lifting of the Covid-19 testing and self-quarantine requirements for inbound travellers.

Emirates’ flight EK318 from Dubai will depart at 02:55 and arrive in Narita at 17:20 while the return flight, EK319 from Narita will depart at 22:30 and arrive in Dubai at 05:30hrs the following day.

The reintroduction of the Emirates A380 to Narita reflects the airline’s long-standing commitment to Japan’s tourism and travel sector.

By adding capacity, the airline aims to serve the pent-up demand for travel into Japan along with providing choice and flexibility for travellers through its daily service to Osaka operated by a Boeing 777.

Currently, tourists from more than 60 countries can travel to Japan visa-free and without official tour guides.

The Emirates A380 experience remains highly sought after by travellers, offering 14 First Class suites and 76 lie-flat seats in Business Class.
