Etihad Airways launches flash 50% flight sale

The promotion will run until midnight on 1 December 

To mark the UAE’s golden jubilee, Etihad Airways, the country’s national airline is launching a flash sale on flights.

The carrier’s National Day sale will run until midnight on Wednesday 1 December. Half-price tickets are available to nine destinations, including London, Madrid, Barcelona, Rome, Singapore and Amman and tickets can be booked for travel until 14 June, 2022. Tickets bought as part of this promotion are fully flexible, with no additional costs applicable if travel plans change.

Promotional economy return fares include flights to Doha from AED695, Amman from AED995 and Vienna from AED1,295. The savings also apply to business-class seats with tickets to Colombo from AED2,495, Singapore from AED4,995 and Rome from AED9,995.

Travellers who fly with Etihad over the National Day holiday will be offered traditional Emirati cuisine as part of the airline’s 50th anniversary celebrations. A special dessert for junior travellers has been designed by the UAE’s youngest Emirati chef, 13-year-old Aysha AlObeidli.

Dubai-based Emirates announced its sale last week, with promotional fares on bookings made until 5 December for travel until 15 June 2022.
