Curated excursions to give travellers “new and innovative” ways to explore the kingdom
Saudi Arabia’s leading low-cost carrier, Flynas, has revealed plans to launch a new and dedicated platform for booking authentic local tourism experiences across the kingdom.
The initiative, unveiled at the Tourise Summit in Riyadh, is a partnership with Saudi Tourism Authority and will be integrated under Flynas’s ‘nasholidays’ holiday division, which already provides options for flight and hotel package bookings.
The new Saudi Experiences platform will be fully accessible via the Flynas website and mobile app, enabling agents and travellers alike to access a diverse roster of experiences curated by Saudi providers.
According to Flynas, the platform has been developed to help visitors explore the country “in new and innovative ways,” with a focus on supporting local communities and artisans while elevating the profile of Saudi culture and heritage.

Travellers can choose from immersive cultural activities, such as Islamic history tours and visits to coffee, mango, date, and palm tree farms with local families, as well as participate in regional Ardah folk performances. The platform will also highlight Saudi cuisine through guided food tours and feature adventure experiences such as climbing, diving, dune bashing, and fishing.
For visitors interested in traditional crafts, curated sessions include weaving, cloak-making, and pottery, with artisans guiding hands-on activities.
Additional offerings include historical site tours, city centre explorations, and overnight stays in rural guesthouses, promoting both cultural discovery and sustainable tourism development.
This initiative comes amid rising demand for experiential travel among inbound visitors. Recent Hilton research shows travellers are moving away from passive sightseeing in favour of authentic, immersive experiences that encourage self-discovery and create stronger connections to local cultures and communities.
