Lux Resorts & Hotels to enter the UAE market

The Lux Collective pipelines includes two new Sharjah properties

The hotel group has partnered with Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) to launch two new properties in Sharjah. Under The Lux Collective’s Lux Hotels & Resorts brand, Lux Al Jabal Resort and Lux Al Bridi Resort are both expected to open in 2023.

Lux Al Bridi Resort
Lux Al Bridi Resort will be located in the city of Al Dhaid alongside Al Bridi Nature Reserve, reportedly the largest safari park in the world outside of Africa with more than 50,000 animals, including native mountain gazelles. The property will feature 35 private ‘retreats’ and a Lux Me spa, as well as a discovery centre where guests can take part in conservation-focused initiatives in collaboration with the Environment and Protected Areas Authority.

Lux Al Jabal Resort
Hillside retreat Lux Al Jabal Resort sits between Khorfakkan Beach and Luluya Beach, facing the Gulf of Oman. Khorfakkan, which means Creek of the Two Jaws, is set within a crescent-shaped bay and is a popular spot for watersports. The property will offer 45 rooms and suites, including a royal suite with a swimming pool, featuring from one to three bedrooms.

Guests will have access to a private beach, a spa, children’s activities and experiences designed to connect travellers to the local culture and community, such as spending the day at the Sharjah Archaeological Museum discovering the region’s history, which dates back to the second century BC.
