The Bangkok-based operator will launch Oaks Hotels, Resorts and Suites brand in the country
Minor Hotels has announced that Oaks Egypt New Capital Apartments & Suites will open in 2025 in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital, currently being developed around 25 miles east of Cairo.
Construction will start early next year on the Oaks property. Housed across two wings, the hotel will be connected centrally across the top floor and ground floor by leisure and retail areas. One wing will include a mixture of suites and studios, and one- and two-bed branded apartments, while the other will feature 203 branded suites. In total, there will be approximately 400 apartments and suites, plus restaurants, a lobby lounge, a spa, a gym, meeting and co-working spaces, and a rooftop pool deck.
