Expansion plans will grow the fleet from two aircraft to 22 by 2030
Premium boutique airline Beond is planning to add at least four new destinations to its network in 2026, as part of a wider expansion that aims to reach more than 30 destinations globally by 2030. The growth plan includes scaling operations from its Maldives hub and significantly increasing its fleet from two aircraft to 22.
The all-business-class carrier, which launched in 2023 and is headquartered in Dubai, currently connects high-value travellers to the Maldives from premium leisure destinations in Europe (including Zurich, Munich and Milan) operating via Dubai, Riyadh and the recently launched Red Sea route in Saudi Arabia.
Unveiled during the Tourise event in Riyadh, Beond’s new Milan Malpensa-Red Sea International-Malé service operates twice weekly, linking two of the region’s emerging luxury tourism markets.

Earlier this year, Beond also outlined plans to expand across the Middle East, with potential services to Kuwait, Bahrain, Jeddah and Abu Dhabi, subject to regulatory approval.
CEO Tero Taskila said the airline’s investment in new aircraft and strategic partnerships will strengthen its global footprint while supporting the Maldives’ long-term tourism growth vision. That growth includes upcoming landmark projects such as Kerzner’s new Atlantis The Royal resort in the Maldives, set to open in 2029.
As part of Beond’s strategy to boost its global presence and tap into rising premium leisure demand, the airline has also launched a new partnership with Dubai-based Global Hotel Alliance (GHA), whose portfolio includes independent brands such as Kempinski, Anantara, Pan Pacific and Capella. The collaboration gives Beond passengers fast-track entry to the GHA Discovery Platinum rewards tier, while Discovery members receive a 15% discount on Beond flights.
