The 91-room hotel is a short walk from Via Veneto
Built in the 1940s and formerly occupied by one of the main Italian banks, the newly opened Rome Edition is just steps from the famed Via Veneto, one of Rome's most elegant avenues.
Most of the Eternal City’s other major attractions are also within easy reach, including the Piazza Barberini, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain and the Borghese Gardens.
The 91 rooms, including 17 suites, have all the design elements the brand is known for, including muted earthy tones and bespoke furniture.

Heading up the hotel’s culinary offering at The Rome Edition’s signature restaurant, Anima, is Paola Colucci, the self-taught founder of Roman restaurant Pianostrada.
Colucci came to cooking later in life. After spending 20 years in finance she left the industry to fulfil her lifelong passion of cooking and opened her first restaurant nine years ago. Her best friend and business partner Chiara Magliocchetti and Colucci’s two daughters, Alice and Flaminia Spognetta, make up the rest of the female-led management team.
Using recipes passed down through generations of Colucci's family, the menu includes traditional Italian dishes with "a modern twist and international outlook".
