Agency welcomed 16 cruise line partners and 90 travel agents at celebratory event
Dubai-based cruise agency CruiseXplore recently marked 11 years of operations with an industry-wide networking event.
The celebration convened more than 90 travel agents and representatives from 16 partners, including MSC Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) and Disney Cruise Line, for an evening of bowling. Alongside the recreational activity, attendees engaged with key stakeholders, strengthening professional connections across the sector.
Reflecting on the milestone, Lakshmi Durai, CEO of CruiseXplore, said: “We extend our sincere gratitude to our cruise line partners, the travel agent community and our media partners for their continued trust and support."

As CruiseXplore enters its 12th year of business, it continues to prioritise collaborations within the travel trade community. In line with this commitment, the group hosted its annual workshop in Dubai earlier this year, bringing together more than 80 travel agents and industry professionals. Participating cruise lines, including Celebrity Cruises, Aroya Cruises and NCL, held seminars highlighting developments in selling strategies, destinations and products, while outlining opportunities across regional, cultural and expedition cruise offerings.
First launched in 2014, CruiseXplore has received numerous industry accolades, including ’Middle East’s Best Cruise Agency’ at the 2023 World Cruise Awards. Further enhancing its presence in the region, the organisation became the exclusive Middle East representative for Norwegian cruise operator Hurtigruten in May 2025.
