Partnership sets stage for “multiple developments” across the sultanate
UAE-born lifestyle brand Rove Hotels is expanding into Oman following the signing of an agreement with Leo Developments, marking its debut in the sultanate. The milestone forms part of the brand’s broader regional growth strategy, which includes an upcoming entry into the Saudi market and more than 8,000 keys currently open or under development across the Middle East.
Under the new partnership, Rove will establish a presence across Oman’s principal tourism and investment zones – including Muscat, Salalah, Duqm and Musandam – with a pipeline of projects catering to both business and leisure travellers.
Leading the expansion is Rove Home Muscat Expressway, located near Muscat Hills and providing convenient access to the city’s business districts, the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC) and Muscat International Airport. The property will offer fully furnished one- and two-bedroom apartments and lofts, complete with a lap pool and jacuzzi, roof garden, co-working spaces and the brand’s signature Rove Café.
Commenting on the development, Paul Bridger, Chief Operating Officer at Rove Hotels, said the project underscores the brand’s long-term commitment to Oman’s hospitality sector and “sets the stage for multiple developments across the country.”

Rove’s regional expansion also includes its upcoming debut in Saudi Arabia through a strategic alliance with Rafal Real Estate Development Company. The first Saudi property, set to open on Riyadh’s Olaya Street, will introduce Rove’s design-led, affordable hospitality concept to one of the region’s fastest-growing hotel markets.
The move into Oman comes amid positive momentum for the sultanate’s tourism industry. According to the National Centre for Statistics and Information, guest numbers at three- to five-star hotels reached 2.4 million by the end of December 2025, a 10.8% increase year-on-year.
The country aims to add around 9,600 new hotel rooms by 2030, boosting inventory by more than 25% to align with Vision 2040 tourism goals, as reported by Cavendish Maxwell’s H1 2025 report.
Ongoing developments include two luxury beachfront resorts at Muscat’s Yiti Beach – an 80-key Nobu Hotel and the Nikki Beach Resort, offering 140 rooms and 30 villas – reflecting the continued diversification of Oman’s upscale hospitality offering.
