Online searches for Morocco increased 39% year-on-year in the MENA region in 2023
Wego has teamed up with the Moroccan National Tourist Office to showcase the country’s destinations to travellers in the MENA region.
Through the Wego platform, travellers will be able to easily find out about Morocco's hidden gems through curated itineraries and tailored suggestions that cater to their preferences.
Wego chief commercial officer and managing director, MENA and India, Mamoun Hmedan, said: “We recorded a 39% increase in the number of searches to the country in 2023 in comparison to the same period last year, with more than 2 million searches so far. We are looking forward to forging a long-lasting relationship with the board.”
