Atlantis, The Palm to offer sky-high balloon experiences on New Year’s Eve

The Dubai Balloon is set to host a New Year’s Eve Sky Carnival at Atlantis, The Palm, providing guests with panoramic views of the midnight fireworks display. Located within the Aquaventure World water park, the tethered balloon attraction was first introduced in 2023 and offers visitors a new way to experience aerial views of the city.   

Throughout the evening, the carnival will feature curated activities, including ‘Written in the Clouds’, a New Year’s ritual in which guests’ resolutions are pinned to balloons and released into the sky. Additional experiences include an interactive photo booth and glitter face painting. 

Multiple balloon flights will operate during the event, with sessions from 7pm to 10pm, and again from 1am to 2am, following the fireworks. Each ride lasts up to 10 minutes and reaches a height of 225 metres, offering unobstructed 360-degree views of Dubai’s skyline.

Guests can select from three seating packages, all of which include drinks and canapés. The balcony section offers elevated views of the carnival in a relaxed café setting, with shared seating on the terrace priced at AED750 (US$205) per person.

For guests seeking a quieter experience, the outdoor seating features corner tables with sweeping views of the fireworks and Atlantis, at AED2,600 (US$700) per table for up to four guests. The VIP zone, with private tables near the centre of the carnival, is available at AED3,600 (US$980) per table for up to four guests.

In addition to The Dubai Balloon, Atlantis Dubai has unveiled extensive seasonal programmes for Christmas and New Year, featuring celebrations and special menus across restaurants at both resorts. Guests can enjoy festive dining and live entertainment, including a performance by Maroon 5 at Atlantis, The Palm’s New Year’s Eve gala dinner.
