AED3 billion project on Dubai World Islands to include spa, beach club, lounge and restaurant
Buddha-Bar Real Estate Development has unveiled the first designs for its debut hotel, beach club and residences in the Middle East and North Africa, marking the next stage of development on The Heart of Europe, Dubai’s offshore luxury destination.
Scheduled for completion in 2027, the AED3 billion (US$816 million) project will introduce Buddha-Bar’s distinctive lifestyle philosophy to an island setting for the first time.
The upcoming 162-key Buddha-Bar Hotel and Buddha-Bar Beach will take shape on one of the destination’s six themed islands, six kilometres off the Dubai coast, with the development managed and represented by UAE-based real estate advisors Yieldhaüs.
The hotel will include an entire floor dedicated to branded residences and reflect Buddha-Bar’s signature balance of design, music, dining and wellness.
Interiors will combine Far Eastern influences with contemporary finishes in deep reds and gold, complemented by Asian colonial accents, sculptural art and chandelier-lit lounges.
Guests can expect curated soundtracks, global dining experiences inspired by Pacific Rim flavours and a spa offering a mix of traditional Eastern rituals and modern treatments.
Adjoining the hotel, Buddha-Bar Beach will expand the brand’s global lifestyle portfolio with a beach club concept combining a restaurant, lounge and day-to-night entertainment hub.
The oceanfront venue will feature dual pools – one family-friendly and one adults-only infinity pool – as well as cabanas, sunken lounges, landscaped event spaces and private beach access.

Mornings will bring yoga and beachfront brunches, while evenings transition to live DJ performances and open-air dining overlooking the Gulf.
In a first for the brand, the development also introduces 24 Floating Residences gliding above the water’s surface and connected by floating piers.
Each three-level residence will accommodate up to eight guests, offering a rooftop jacuzzi and dining lounge, a sea-level deck with overwater hammocks and panoramic windows and an underwater level with bedrooms surrounded by coral reefs.
The project’s design also incorporates climate-controlled outdoor zones to ensure year-round comfort and access to coral reefs.
Commenting on the reveal, Nabil Souhail, Vice President of Buddha-Bar International, said the project reflects “a convergence of our DNA – music, mood, and magic – with next-level hospitality design.”
The Buddha-Bar hotel forms part of The Heart of Europe’s broader plan to bring European lifestyle concepts to Dubai, alongside upcoming St Tropez and Cannes-themed hotels, Bauhaus-style villas on Germany Island, and the Floating Lido resort inspired by Venice.
The destination currently features the Côte d’Azur Monaco Hotel, which opened in 2022, and the Portofino Hotel, with additional resorts including those themed around Nice, Cannes, St Tropez, and the Floating Seahorse Villas underway.
Among the most anticipated additions, the Marbella Resort Hotel, Vignette Collection, will open in 2026, introducing a Costa del Sol-inspired concept complete with a one-kilometre climate-controlled street with daily rainfall and an après-ski bar beside a snow plaza.
Once complete, The Heart of Europe will feature 20 hotels and resorts with more than 5,000 keys.
