Nine-day voyage to feature acclaimed artists departing New York on 31 October
Crystal Cruises has revealed the next sailing in its celebrated ‘Crystal on Broadway’ series, a nine-day voyage through the US and Canada that aims to “bring the magic of Broadway directly to our guests.”
Now open for booking, the cruise aboard Crystal Serenity combines world-class sailing with Broadway talent, where guests can look forward to “exceptional” performances by acclaimed artists alongside a special workshop of Ever After The Musical.
The voyage will depart New York (Bayonne) on 31 October 2025, calling at Newport, Provincetown, Boston, Portland and Saint John in New Brunswick.

Headlining the programme of performances and workshops is celebrated Broadway star Sierra Boggess, known for The Little Mermaid, The Phantom of the Opera, Harmony and School of Rock.
She will perform in an intimate cabaret-style concert, accompanied by the Crystal Serenity show band.
Also joining the sailing are Marcy Heisler and Zina Goldrich, the award-winning lyricist and composer duo behind Ever After The Musical.
Their piano-and-vocal performance — styled after New York’s legendary 54 Below — will feature selections from each of their distinguished careers.
An exclusive workshop will give guests rare insider access to the creative process behind Ever After The Musical, the stage adaptation of the 1998 film that reimagines Cinderella as a spirited, independent heroine.
Heisler and Goldrich will be joined by Marlo Hunter, the musical’s award-winning director and choreographer recently named a Woman to Watch on Broadway by the Broadway Women’s Fund, along with Sierra Boggess, to present songs from the new production followed by an audience Q&A session.
Adding to the Broadway calibre, Kevin McCollum, the Tony Award-winning producer of RENT, Avenue Q and In the Heights, will also feature on the programme.
Commenting on the sailing, Keith Cox, Vice President of Entertainment at Crystal, said: “From world-class performances to exclusive insight into the creation of a new musical, this sailing highlights the unique opportunities that set Crystal apart as the pinnacle of exceptional experiences and culture at sea.”
The Broadway-themed voyage adds to a landmark year of achievements for Crystal.
The line was recently named Top Midsize-Ship Ocean Cruise Line in the Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards 2025 readers’ survey, a recognition it has maintained for nearly three decades.
This year also saw the debut of the only Beefbar at sea, as well as Le Casino de Monte-Carlo, plus new dishes at Osteria d’Ovidio in collaboration with the renown Italian Alajmo brothers.
