Vessel name, itineraries and suite details to be revealed end of 2025
Crystal Cruises has revealed key dates for building its first new ship in 25 years, marking a significant step for the reimagined luxury line under A&K Travel Group.
The ship, one of two new-build luxury vessels announced earlier this year, will be constructed by Fincantieri, with steel cutting to begin in May 2026 and keel laying set for December the same year.
Delivery is scheduled for May 2028, with inaugural season bookings set to open in spring 2027 and a waiting list available ahead of general sales.
By the end of 2025, Crystal plans to reveal the ship’s name, inaugural itineraries and new suite categories, which will set the tone for what the brand describes as “the next generation of luxury cruising”.
Each of the two new vessels will accommodate around 650 guests and have a gross tonnage of 61,800, continuing the brand’s commitment to spacious design and personalised service.

A&K Travel Group CEO Cristina Levis said teams across both the cruise line and Fincantieri had been “working diligently on every element of this extraordinary project, from design and craftsmanship to technical innovation”.
She added: “These milestones represent more than construction progress; they are a testament to our shared commitment with Fincantieri to deliver the most exceptional ship at sea, on schedule and with an unparalleled attention to detail.”
Currently operating Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony, the line continues to invest in its fleet.
Crystal Symphony will enter drydock in November 2025 for a three-week refurbishment, including enhancements to select suites, public spaces and technical systems.
