Group’s 83-hotel pipeline will create more than 15,000 jobs
Hilton is accelerating its Saudi Arabia expansion with plans to add more than 22,000 rooms across 14 brands, with two thirds of its pipeline already under construction.
The growth comes as the group surpasses 100 hotels trading and in development kingdom-wide, representing a combined US$8 billion investment from hotel owners and investors.
Hilton currently operates 21 hotels in the kingdom and has 83 more underway, accounting for more than a quarter of all branded hotel rooms under construction in Saudi Arabia.
Once complete, the 83-hotel, 22,000-room pipeline is expected to create more than 15,000 new jobs, half of which are set to be filled by Saudi nationals in line.
